How are your scones different?
From freezer to fresh-baked in about 15 minutes, FatCat's premium frozen scones are moist, delicious and worth every bite. Far from the traditional dry biscuit, FatCat Scones are moist, rich and bursting with flavor. With the finest all-natural ingredients and a special production process, FatCat Scones are the perfect anytime treat.

How are your scones presented?
FatCat Scones come FROZEN in bags of 12. Each bag contains a single flavor - 12 two-ounce frozen scones and a container of topping - either glaze or raw sugar, depending on the flavor.

How many flavors can I get?
We have six flavors from which to choose, plus a special flavor now and then. The minimum order is two dozen, which you may choose two flavors.

What is the cost?
$14.00 for two dozen...$7.00 per bag...add shipping charges as appropriate. For special wholesale pricing, please call Customer Service at 916.372.6464.

How do I bake the scones?
FatCat Scones are easy-to-bake...no defrosting...no mess...no hassle. You simply put the frozen scones, right from the freezer, onto a baking sheet, then bake accordingly. Click here for detailed cooking instructions.

Are your scones dry like the ones I've had before?
No! Far from the traditional dry and tasteless biscuit, FatCat Scones are moist, delicious and worth every bite.

What size are your frozen scones?
FatCat Scones are the perfect size for a breakfast or an anytime treat. Each scone is two ounces and are chock full of delectable premium ingredients.

Do I need to thaw FatCat Scones before baking?
No. For best results, bake our scones frozen. Each scone is portioned and ready to bake right out of the bag.

Can I microwave FatCat Scones?
No. The scones should be baked in an oven.

Can I bake FatCat Scones in a toaster oven?
Yes, you can bake scones in a small oven, such as a toaster oven. Set the temperature at 375 degrees. Your baking results will depend on the toaster oven. You may also need to adjust the baking temperature and baking time.

If my scones thaw, can I refreeze them?
If the scones have completely thawed (achieved a temperature over 45 degrees), you should not re-freeze the dough. Please throw away the dough if necessary. But if they just get soft, they can certainly refreeze

How do I reheat a baked scone so I can enjoy them warm?
Try placing your already-baked FatCat Scone into your microwave for 10-15 seconds - heat to desired temperature. Watch out! The scones may be hot.

Do you have any tips for baking the perfect scone?
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees for 10 minutes before baking, and use the center rack for best results. Evenly space the scones on an ungreased baking sheet, and bake the scones frozen - do not thaw. You can also line the pan with baking parchment, should you so desire. If your oven bakes inconsistently, i.e., more browning in front or back, left or right, top or bottom, then ROTATE the pan about 60% into your bake time. If the scones aren't rising properly (i.e., forming a hard "shell" or flopping over) try thawing the scones before baking them.

What kind of browser do I need in order to make online purchases from FatCat Scones?
To make purchases online from this site, you must have an SSL-enabled browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. We test our site on new versions of browsers and do our best to offer optimal experience on the latest versions of all browsers and platforms. What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases?
We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards when placing your order online. Your credit card will be charged at the time your order is placed. If you are picking your scones up, we also accept cash and checks.

How can I check the status of an order online?
We'll send you an order confirmation once the order has been received. Your scones will then be shipped as per our shipping guidelines.

Will FatCat Scones confirm my online order?
If you provide your email address when placing your order, we'll send you a confirmation message within 24 hours.

Can I pick the scones up?
If you are a Sacramento local and you don't want to pay for the cost of overnight shipping, you are welcome to pick up your scone order at our location in West Sacramento. FatCat Scones will be open for will-call order pick up Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST. (not including holidays). We are located at 752 Northport Dr. Suite E, West Sacramento, CA 95691.

Shipping Information


What shipping options are available?
Please note that all FatCat Scones products are automatically shipped via Priority Delivery with such carriers as DHL or California Overnight, to ensure that your product arrives in superb condition. All frozen food products are carefully packaged to maintain optimum quality. As needed, your order will be packed with dry ice or ice packs and placed in an insulated container for shipment.

Due to our strict quality standards, we are not able to ship outside the United States, to P.O. boxes, or to APO/FPO addresses at this time. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii require EXPRESS shipping and incur an additional $10 charge.

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information, we reserve the right to make corrections if an error does occur. Please check all addresses carefully. Postal and delivery services will not forward. We guarantee delivery only to the addresses we are given.

What are your shipping times?
FatCat Scones ships all items Monday - Thursday via Priority Delivery with such carriers as DHL or California Overnight. Items ordered before 12:00 p.m. PST Monday - Thursday are usually shipped the same day. Delays may occur due to weather, availability or other circumstances. In some cases, items ordered together are not necessarily shipped in the same box. Orders placed from 12:00 p.m. PST on Thursday through 12:00 p.m. PST Monday will ship on Monday. Saturday delivery is available in limited areas for an additional $10.00 fee.

What are the holiday shipping cut-off dates?

How are delivery charges calculated?
Our shipping charges are based on the merchandise total of each delivery address. You will be charged a shipping rate, based on the zip code where the product is being sent and the type of delivery service. Gift certificates are an exception: The shipping charge is $6.50 per gift certificate regardless of the certificate amount. We will adjust the charge to your credit card accordingly upon receipt of your order.
